CompareMortgageRates This site evolved over the last 4 years. It started as a site to provide mortgage rate comparison charts, but the provider of these charts moved their business on recently (too many people were using the charts and then going directly to the lender), so that part of the site has been dropped.

It's main source of income is, and virtually always has been, Google Adsense. But there are other affiliate schemes there, including the second major source of income, which remains as mortgage referrals, but to a new buyer. There's also a major merchants' directory being built - which is adding at elast a further 100 pages to the site in the first wave alone! The site has been top of Google for various high quality keywords and the current expansion is part of the process of trying to get it back to where it once was.
